Formerly associated with Thompson Coburn, Jonathan is a veteran litigator of state and federal courts around the country, representing clients ranging in size from multi-billion-dollar corporations to individuals, in areas including intellectual property, patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, business litigation disputes and administrative proceedings such as the Patent Trial and Appeals Board, the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board and the International Trade Commission.

Jonathan received his law degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, J.D. where he was on the Washington University Law Review.  He received his undergraduate degree from Illinois Wesleyan University. “I am ecstatic to join the Hilgers Graben team,” said Jonathan.  “It is one of the fastest growing law firms in the country.  I was particularly attracted to its ‘no jerks’ culture and roster of large, nationwide clients.”

According to firm founder, Mike Hilgers, “We are delighted to have a lawyer of Jonathan’s caliber join the firm and to help lead our expansion into Missouri.  He is a perfect culture fit and brings significant intellectual property expertise to the firm and to our clients.”
