Hilgers Graben Strengthens Discovery Services with Chief Technology Officer John Natividad

HG Edge, Hilgers Graben’s dedicated eDiscovery service provider, received another influx of talent with the addition of a dedicated technologist to an already tech-savvy team of discovery experts.  As Chief Technology Officer, John Natividad oversees all client-facing technology solutions and helps clients leverage the latest innovations to maximize efficiency, mitigate risk, and reduce cost.

HG Edge offers customized technology solutions that facilitate the full management of electronically stored information (ESI) in legal matters, including preservation, collection, processing, hosting, and production of ESI.

Like HG Edge’s co-directors, Erika De Leon and David Kang, John has decades of experience tailoring technological tools for eDiscovery, forensic, and data analytics matters, as well as building teams from the ground up. Prior to joining Hilgers Graben, John was a management consultant at multiple global consultancies, including Big Four accounting firms. The firm’s first international hire, he is currently based in Tokyo, after previously living in Los Angeles, New York, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

“We believe that HG Edge provides an eDiscovery service option that is in a class by itself, so we are incredibly pleased to be joined by someone with John’s track record of holistic technological strategy,” said Carrie Dolton, chair of Hilgers Graben’s discovery counsel practice group. “John’s presence underscores HG’s determination to deliver cutting edge technology solutions within its vertically integrated discovery counsel and eDiscovery technology teams. The winners here are our clients, who get the quality and savings such an integrated team offers.”

“While HG Edge is a natural complement to our elite team of national trial attorneys and discovery counsel team, it is also a best-in-class operation in its own right,” added firm founder Heather Hilgers. “John is a seamless fit for a firm that prioritizes sophisticated eDiscovery tools and promotes a no-jerks culture.”
