Brooke Schultz represents companies in government enforcement actions and business litigation nationwide. She has significant experience conducting U.S. and cross-border investigations for clients facing criminal and civil issues under the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), the False Claims Act, and other laws. As a member of Hilgers Graben’s Edge team, Brooke also handles all aspects of e-discovery for complex litigation and regulatory matters.

Brooke has defended major public and private companies, boards of directors, audit and special committees, and individuals against enforcement actions brought by the Department of Justice, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other agencies. She regularly counsels companies on crisis management, corporate governance, and effective ethics and compliance programs.

Brooke joined Hilgers Graben from Jones Day, where she was a partner in the Securities Litigation & SEC Enforcement practice. She has published and spoken on a variety of enforcement-related topics, including cross-border corporate criminal liability, FCPA and whistleblower trends, and ethical issues in government and internal investigations.
