Xin Xu has extensive experience in managing document review projects for large complex litigation and government investigations. Building upon her former commercial litigator background at an Am Law 100 firm, Xin understands the needs from the perspective of the senior lawyers as well as the clients for effective and efficient discovery by strategically organizing workflow structures and culling data for review to achieve the optimal results in cost and defensibility of the e-discovery projects.
Forward looking, intelligent, and agile, Xin has a deep appreciation for the need to stay ahead of the curve in the practice of e-discovery when it comes to utilize cutting edge technology including machine learning and AI to keep up with the fast-evolving industry best practice, and hence, the prospect of growing demands for such usage from clients. She routinely advises the use of and utilizes current technology such as TAR/CAL and various analytical tools such as email threading visualization tool in managing the priority, volume, and quality control aspects. She is a Relativity certified review management specialist and has achieved the “Genius” level from the Reveal_BrainSpace certification program, including earning the certificates for BrainSpace Specialist and AI Designer.
With native fluency in Chinese and proficiency in Japanese, Xin has significant experiences in leading multi-language reviews, including providing quality check, privilege review, production QC, translation QC, identifying and summarizing key documents, and performing targeted searches in those languages to assist with briefing, deposition preparation, and production. She regularly communicates and collaborates with vendors, senior lawyers, support staff, translators, and reviewers to ensure the smooth going of the project.
