Peter is a successful litigator and skilled legal writer who is experienced in many aspects of commercial litigation. He has a specialty in handling third-party subpoena responses for large companies, including many for a major telecommunications company and a large footwear manufacturer. Peter has also recently handled discovery and briefing efforts in multimillion-dollar cases in federal and state courts involving pharmacies and pharmaceutical companies. His past matters include a multimillion-dollar False Claims Act case, bankruptcy litigation involving major financial services entities, several white-collar internal investigations, and multiple complex discovery matters. Peter has contributed to amicus briefs for cases at the U.S. Supreme Court and U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and has won an appeal for a pro bono client in front of the Board of Immigration Appeals.
Prior to joining Hilgers Graben, Peter was a litigation associate in Winston & Strawn’s Washington, D.C. office. He also clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit for the Honorable Paul Matey.
