Mark offers creative and cost-effective discovery solutions in various complex litigation matters, including multidistrict litigation, class actions, healthcare disputes, securities and financial industry litigation, and corporate internal investigations. With over a decade of high-stakes litigation experience, Mark specializes in fact development at every case stage. He has led both fact and expert discovery teams in multibillion-dollar nationwide cases. He has substantial experience taking and defending depositions, including depositions of corporate representatives and expert witnesses. Mark’s background with expert testimony spans numerous disciplines, including a host of medical professionals, epidemiologists, statisticians, toxicologists, industrial hygienists, computer engineers, warnings experts, and economists.
Before joining Hilgers Graben, Mark was a law clerk to two federal judges, a trial lawyer and officer in the U.S. Marine Corps, and a litigation associate at an AmLaw 100 firm. He has tried ten jury cases to verdict, including a 24-day trial that gained national media attention and inquiries from Congress.
Mark maintains an active pro bono practice, assisting veterans with military discharge upgrades and VA benefits claims. He also volunteers as a mentor for the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania’s Veterans Court.
