For over twelve years, George has represented clients in litigation across a broad range of industries and practice areas, from telecommunications to healthcare and from trademark defense to insurance recovery. Regardless of the matter, the industry, or the client, George quickly learned that every case shares common principles, including the need to build a solid litigation and discovery strategy from the outset to put the client in the best position to successfully resolve the dispute. George brings those lessons and skills learned to Hilgers Graben’s discovery practice group.
George’s practice primarily focuses on commercial litigation, including business torts and contract matters. George also has substantial experience litigating trademark matters in federal court as well as before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. In all of these venues, George has spent a substantial portion of his career resolving pre-trial disputes and handling discovery projects in order to prevent adverse parties from exploiting the rules of procedure in order to gain leverage. Such discovery matters have ranged from fast-moving adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court, large-scale government investigations, and sensitive trade secret disputes.
George is based out of hometown of Dallas, Texas, where he lives with his wife, Courtney, and his two children Sawyer and Briar. In addition to his law practice, George stays active in the community, including his high school alumni organization and his children’s school.
