Hilgers Graben Announces Cynthia Schmidt as New Deputy Chair of Its Discovery Counsel Practice Group
With Cynthia Schmidt’s promotion to the Partnership of Hilgers Graben, the firm is pleased to announce that Cynthia will be stepping into the role of Deputy Chair of the Discovery Counsel practice group.
While still serving her existing and future clients, Cynthia will lend her strategic experience to the task of maintaining the Discovery Counsel Practice group’s extraordinary growth and commitment to exceptional client service, marrying the best in human capital with the most cutting-edge technology.

Before joining Hilgers Graben, Cynthia practiced complex commercial litigation at Gibson Dunn & Crutcher and clerked for Judge Barbara M.G. Lynn, United States District Judge for the Northern District of Texas. She is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and SMU Dedman School of Law. Very involved in her local community, Cynthia lives in Dallas with her husband and five children.
