Adam is an experienced litigator who focuses on corporate and complex commercial disputes. He has represented a wide range of clients—from individual consumers to Fortune 500 companies—in federal and state litigation across the country.
In prior cases, Adam has represented:
- An LLC member in case involving the dissolution of a holding company for a major cosmetics business.
- A health insurance provider in a suit involving a counterparty’s termination of a multi-billion-dollar merger transaction.
- An oil & gas trading firm in defense of breach-of-contract claims by a natural gas utility related to disruptions in shipments during Winter Storm Uri.
- A human resources company in the entertainment industry, a relocation consulting business, and major private equity group in separate COVID-19-related M&A lawsuits over “MAE” clauses.
- A major software provider in a breach-of-contract action concerning the termination of a SaaS Agreement.
- Directors & officers of a F500 health provider in defense against derivative action and alleged violations of securities laws.
- A tech start-up in a lawsuit against a global apparel company for misappropriation of trade secrets related to proprietary anticounterfeiting technology.
- A major food services provider in response to FOIA requests by competitors in various states.

Before joining Hilgers Graben, Adam practiced with a prominent Delaware law firm and clerked for justices on the Supreme Court of Delaware and the Supreme Court of Alabama.
Adam lives in Lincoln with his wife, Kelsey, and their two sons.
