Prism Technologies v. T-Mobile USA, Inc.: Mike’s client T-Mobile achieved a complete defense verdict after a two-week jury trial. Mike represented T-Mobile in a multi-year, $100 million patent case as local counsel and was part of the trial team, picking the jury, cross-examining key witnesses, and advising on local strategy issues.
Clear with Computers v. Valmont: Mike resolved the web technology patent case for his client, Valmont Industries.
Camris Technologies v. Siemens, et al.: As lead counsel, Mike resolved the dispute favorably for his client Camris Technologies. After defeating defendants’ dispositive motion and winning a variety of discovery motions, the case resolved on the eve of trial.
Kaavo v. Tier 3, et al.: Mike represented CenturyLink-owned companies in two related patent cases, both involving cloud computing technology, filed in the District of Delaware. Mike argued and won motions to stay discovery in each case; after a successful Alice motion invalidating the independent claims of the parent patent, the cases settled.
