Scott represents high-profile clients in multimillion dollar disputes and class action litigation and defends clients who are the subject of government investigations. He has taken and defended depositions, drafted motions and briefs, conducted witness interviews, and managed discovery.

Scott has helped companies navigate a wide variety of investigations on topics ranging from environmental compliance to financial and accounting fraud. He has defended companies against civil and criminal investigations brought by the Department of Justice (DOJ), Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Scott also has substantial experience managing large-scale electronic discovery. From negotiating ESI agreements to completing document discovery and depositions, Scott works collaboratively with clients to develop creative and cost-effective solutions to the challenges posed by modern discovery.

Scott’s commitment to service extends to pro bono matters and to the Pittsburgh community. He volunteers for the Western District of Pennsylvania’s Pro Se Pro Bono Mediation Program.   Scott also serves on the board of directors of the Thelma Lovette YMCA and the Pittsburgh chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, is the president of Pittsburgh’s University of Delaware Alumni Club, and is the commissioner of the Allegheny County Bar Association Basketball League.
