About
Marilyn is skilled in the execution of defensible eDiscovery processes relating to contentious, high-stakes commercial litigation and investigations. She uses her extensive knowledge of electronic discovery processes and information management to leverage best practices and efficiencies. An inquisitive and highly-motivated “techie,” Marilyn enjoys digging deep into the logic of cases to piece together answers and solutions.
Prior to joining Hilgers, Marilyn worked at Hollingworth, LLP as a member of the firm’s answer team. In addition to handling legal research and writing in the drafting of written discovery responses and answers to pleadings, she assisted the partners in managing the answers team by coordinating drafting and review assignments for twenty-plus contract and staff attorneys. Marilyn also has significant eDiscovery experience, including the identification, review, and production of electronic documents for cases involving large-scale Spanish language investigations of alleged violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA), as well as in cases involving major products liability, toxic tort, pharmaceutical, internal and government investigations, and other complex litigation matters.
Marilyn resides in the suburbs of Washington D.C. with her husband, Ronnie, and their two children.
