About

Grant Strobl joined Hilgers Graben as a litigation associate in 2023. Before joining the firm, he clerked for Judge Edith H. Jones of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and Judge David J. Porter of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Grant graduated with honors from the University of Chicago Law School in 2021 where he was awarded the Thomas R. Mulroy Prize for Excellence in Appellate Advocacy. He also served as a research assistant to Professor Eric Posner and as Vice President of the Federalist Society for the Joseph Story Award. While in law school, Grant was invited to serve as a symposium issue editor of the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy. Grant earned his undergraduate degree, with high distinction and high honors, from the University of Michigan in 2018 on a full-tuition scholarship.

Since 2016, Grant has served as Chairman of Young Americans for Freedom Board of Governors.

Grant lives in Lincoln with his wife, Rachel. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, Big Ten football, and hiking national parks.
