Jen Erickson Baak

Jennifer has spent nearly a decade in both the private and public sector practicing civil litigation, with a focus on appellate work. Jennifer has represented major corporations in a variety of matters including securities fraud, class actions, patent disputes, international arbitration, and employment discrimination. With regard to appeals, Jennifer has experience taking the lead on cases, strategizing, researching, and drafting appeals. Jennifer has presented oral argument in both state and federal court in numerous appeals.

Jennifer earned her law degree from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she was an editor of the Iowa Law Review and graduated with high distinction. She clerked for the Honorable William J. Bauer, Judge for the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Prior to joining Hilgers Graben, Jennifer was an associate at Winston & Strawn, LLP and counsel in the City of Chicago’s Appellate Division.

Jennifer resides in Denver, Colorado, with her husband, Andy, and their three children.
