OMAHA, NEB—The complex litigation firm Hilgers Graben PLLC is announcing the addition of accomplished litigation attorney Jennifer Erickson Baak. A veteran of state and federal courts, Ms. Erickson Baak has represented clients in a variety of disputes, including patent disputes, securities fraud, class actions, internal arbitration, and employment discrimination.
“We could not be more excited to bring Jennifer on board our team,” says Mike Hilgers, co-founder of the firm. “Our clients come to the firm for first-class legal expertise and highly talented attorneys like Jennifer.” Prior to joining Hilgers Graben PLLC, Ms. Erickson Baak was an associate with the international law firm Winston & Strawn LLP and a law clerk on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. “Jennifer’s experience and training from Winston & Strawn is a boon for our clients, as is her superlative legal pedigree and the appellate work she did before joining the firm,” Hilgers said. “More than her legal expertise and talented legal mind, we are excited to add another great person to our roster of customer-service oriented, people-first attorneys.”
Ms. Erickson Baak earned her law degree in 2003 from the University of Iowa College of Law, where she graduated with High Distinction and served as an editor on the Iowa Law Review. After law school she clerked for the Honorable William J. Bauer of the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. She graduated from Hastings College with degrees in International Economics (High Distinction) and Political Science (Distinction).
